Arriving by Air

Tucson Arizona has a small, comfortable, world class airport (TUS) that is served by major airlines. As an alternative, flyers can travel to Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) airport and take a shuttle van from Phoenix to Tucson. The shuttle fee is around $50 and the drive time approximately 2.5 hours.

 

Arriving by Road

If you drive, Tucson is accessible via U.S. Interstate 10. Estimated travel times to Tucson, by road, are provided for the following cities: Albuquerque (6.5 hours, via I-25 to I-10), Las Cruces (4 hours via I-10), Las Vegas Nevada (6.5 hours, US Route 93 to I-10), Phoenix (2 hours, I-10).

Downtown Tucson

The Downtown Tucson Partnership provides information about events, venues, and attractions accessible from downtown Tucson.

 

Sun Link Streetcar

SunLink operates a regular schedule streetcar service that links downtown hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues to the University of Arizona Campus. A 3-day transit pass costs $10 and may be purchased on your smartphone, at a streetcar stop kiosk, or online.

 

SunTran Bus Service

SunTran operates regular public bus service throughout Tucson.
